The Educational and Social Development Foundation (ESDF)
Education is the basis for every society’s evolution and progress and it plays a large part in the socialization of children into society. However, the unequal standard of education is still a major problem that needs to be solved. Education does not only help us develop strong environments but it also generates a superior community. Education systems that eliminate illiteracy and provide us an access to not only basic education but also to higher and technical education are needed.

The Educational and Social Development Foundation (ESDF) is a Lebanese Non Governmental Organization aiming at improving and enhancing the educational and social sectors in Lebanon based on a participatory approach. The ESDF focuses on the following topics in order to promote equity and progress in education:
Capacity Building
Advocacy and Outreach
Women Empowerment and GBV Reduction
Poverty Reduction
Local Governance and Rural Development
Children Basic Rights and Protection
Health and Environment Awareness
ESDF mission is the development and dissemination of the educational and social cultures in Lebanon targeting different areas through different Lebanese ministries and public entities.
The main interventions of ESDF take as a framework a well defined and formulated project aiming at including a large number of partners. The ESDF supports the appropriate implementation of projects through the diversified contributions of several partners.
