ALPINE PEACE CROSSING - Association for Social and Refugee Assistance (APC) is a civil society, independent and charitable support and peace initiative , founded in 2007 by Ernst Löschner under the patronage of Heinz Fischer and Giorgio Napolitano, the heads of state of Austria and Italy. It is based on a long-forgotten Jewish exodus over the Austrian Alps near Krimml (Salzburg) in 1947 and is dedicated to all refugees in the world.
