Formed in 2013 by activists, researchers and citizens identified with the vision of a more integrated Rio, Casa believes that the realization of this horizon passes through the affirmation of a public agenda open to the participation of all the people of Rio de Janeiro and destined universally to all its territory and population and not only - or primarily - for the central areas of the capital.
We function as a hub of a network of people and organizations dedicated to fostering shared actions aimed at promoting equality, deepening democracy and sustainable development in Rio, reaching our entire "metropolitan city".
