Asian Regional Exchange for New Alternatives (ARENA)
The Asian Regional Exchange for New Alternatives (ARENA) is a regional network of Asian scholars that aims to contribute to processes of people oriented change. ARENA members come from a wide range of Asian countries to advocate alternative paradigms and development strategies. ARENA undertakes research, facilitates networking and organizes workshops and dialogues that focus on issues such as: economic globalization and its impact on human security; the agenda of sustainable development; democratization and governance; gender issues and people’s empowerment
