Veterinarians Without Borders

Veterinarians Without Borders / Vétérinaires Sans Frontières is an NGO comprised of individuals who have served with and partnered with other organizations to promote animal wellbeing, human health and economic development domestically and internationally. They have partnered with veterinary colleges across the United States to promote dissemination of veterinary education and health care globally. As a privately and publicly supported organization they are accountable to those individual donors and organizations, and they are obliged to carry out health care delivery of the highest quality and integrity. While the issues they address are diverse, all that they do is bound by their shared conviction that dissemination of knowledge is a key to animal production capacity serving the needs of human development. They are committed to excellence in delivery of veterinary health care and that knowledge, with the understanding that enhanced knowledge and skills allow for higher quality of life and economic development globally.

Veterinarians Without Borders / Vétérinaires Sans Frontières was founded in 2001, with the vision of enhancing global human and animal health, food security and economic development. The organization is recognized by the U.S. Federal Government as a charitable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
