They work towards a society free from violence by offering a range of programs for education, prevention, and intervention. Their groundbreaking programs for high school, middle school and elementary school students teach young people how to identify and avoid domestic violence so they can develop healthy relationships. Their Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP) reaches tens of thousands of teens each year on high school campuses. Students learn about relationship abuse, sexual harassment, and how to build healthy relationships.

The individualized services provided by their shelters strive to give residents the tools they need to break the pattern of domestic violence and start life anew. Ther shelters provide lifesaving emergency housing for women and children who are fleeing abusive homes. Each family stays in their own apartment complete with full kitchen and bath, giving them the privacy they need to feel safe in a new environment.
