Asociación Nacional para el Fomento de la Agricultura Ecológica (ANAFAE) is a non-profit, second level organization that promotes the integration of private entities dedicated to organic farming and sustainable rural development; promotes the exchange of experience with greater impact among members, promotes and supports the dissemination of experiences generated and validated with greater impact in organic agriculture outside of ANAFAE; facilitates the training of human resources in ideas and practices that promote organic farming; propitious and affects the policies of the Government of Honduras for the development of organic farming.

ANAFAE is a leading organization   in the promotion of organic agriculture and in the defense of food sovereignty, with the capacity to influence the design and implementation of state policies aimed at reducing the poverty gap, greater   justice in the agriculture, defense of territory and life.

Mission

ANAFAE is an organization that responds to the current challenges of the country with a   technical and political proposal for the promotion of organic agriculture within the framework of food sovereignty, the dissemination of knowledge and practices for the protection and conservation of biodiversity, defense of the territory , mutual learning and accompany their member organizations and other social movements in the promotion of the integral development of Honduras.
