LifeLine Network is a growing and dynamic group of grassroots community organisations and NGOs with a common aim: to fight the poverty and hardship that affects the communities they live in.  As a network of partnerships built to empower people locally, nationally and globally, they are the indigenous people, the strategy people, the specialist people.

They work with 30 partners in 17 different countries, running a diverse range of development projects, including: a rehabilitation centre and schools for orphans and street children in Sierra Leone; maternal health care programmes in Liberia; HIV and crime victim support in Dominica, mentoring orphans in Zimbabwe and a microfinance loans project in Egypt.  Last year, they assisted people in need across the world, helping local communities to access the support they need to make a better life for themselves.

Mission
Fighting the causes of poverty and rebuilding communities by exchanging knowledge, expertise and resources. Working alongside local people to build better, self-sustaining futures for the partners and the communities they work in.

Founded in the 1980’s, the work overseas grew in 1990 in Sierra Leone where a civil war raged and they began supporting child soldiers to re-integrate back into their local community. It was here that they developed the skills in finding like-minded people and organisations to partner with, learning about transformation through training, and how to support community leaders in their localities.

They now work with some of the most inspiring leaders that they have ever met, partnering with all backgrounds and all faiths, but most importantly, with people who seek to bring real change and empowerment to their communities.
