The Green House has been providing therapy for people affected by sexual abuse for over 30 years. Founded in the 1970’s, they were formerly known as Avon Sexual Abuse Centre. As they began to support increasing numbers of children and young people they decided it was important to change the name. They are based in a bright green building in St Werburghs, Bristol and so in 2010 they formally became The Green House. They have steadily grown over the years, and now provide therapy for over 75 men, women and children each week.

Mission:
To help people affected by sexual abuse and rape to recover from their trauma and help improve their mental health, wellbeing and resilience through the provision of specialist professional therapy accessible to all.
