In 2008 the Placke family of six moved to East Africa.  Wanting to serve neglected and impoverished peoples and go where no one else would go, they settled in a faraway village in southeastern Tanzania.  With Christ as their compassion source, they committed to walking side by side with the Ngindo tribe.

Living in the same conditions as the villagers opened their eyes and expanded their understanding of what life in a remote area was truly like. They saw a community without safe water, proper medical care, or adequate education.  

Scott & Becky have dedicated their lives to changing that. Their first step is to resolve water issues by building wells.
