The Association of People with Disability (APD) is a non-profit organization based out of Bangalore. Founded in 1959, they have worked extensively over the last 58 years to reach out and rehabilitate People with Disability from the under privileged segment

Their aim is to create an inclusive society, where people with disabilities are accepted into the mainstream economy and social life. A culture and eco system where they can earn, live and sustain with dignity and respect.

Their network is spread across Vijayapura(Bijapura), Chikbellapur, Tumkur, Kolar, Koppal, Davangere and various other districts, where they have ongoing programs and initiatives.

They are associated with voluntary organizations across South India, whom they work with on various initiatives. They also conduct training sessions to educate and equip these organizations on rehabilitation and therapy for the disabled.

They have been awarded for their work in the field of disability. They are also a recognized training institute in the field of disability by The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
