Bridges of Hope is an International Network of Development Agencies. Our mission is to promote poverty relief and community empowerment amongst the poorest nations of the earth. Our mission is accomplished in cooperation with governments, donors, organizations and individuals, all who connect to form our network. 

Bridges of Hope's philosophy is one of interdependence and ongoing cooperation. We recognize that relief in and of itself cannot eradicate world poverty. When business thrives, the need for relief is greatly diminished. Therefore, Bridges of Hope puts a high premium on indigenous enterprise using business creation to combat poverty. Through partnering with local people, we focus on facilitating and supporting sustainable enterprise, which can create employment in the developing world.

Our network has extended to places like Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Canada, Chad, Dominican Republic, DR Congo, Ghana, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Guatemala, Kenya, Nepal, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, USA, and Zambia.

There are many valuable charities in the development sector doing incredible work. At Bridges of Hope, we focus our attention and support on the following:

-We focus on grassroots organizations strategically chosen and monitored for effectiveness and efficiency.

-We put a high premium on indigenous enterprises using business creation to combat poverty. 

-We rely on our extensive international network to provide local business solutions to poverty in remote areas to help us identify the best social entrepreneurs who have the ability to bring positive transformation to their communities.

-We’ve spent over a decade building relationships with, and earning the trust of over 100 community leaders with community development experience. In these same communities we have brought over 100 organizations to our donors' attention.

 


Sector Priorities



Through our four priority sectors we provide medical assistance, strategic financing, farming initiatives, water and sponsorship programs. Through these sectors we are able to provide access to literacy, numeracy, food, water and clothing, all contributing to the growth of vibrant and sustainable communities in developing countries.
