In Togo, millions of children, women and men are persecuted and they are denied basic rights. Minority groups are victims of discrimination and are deprived of education. Children and women are victims of sexual exploitation. Often, these vulnerable groups have nowhere to go for help.

 

ADRA Togo is dedicated to the protection of the most vulnerable in Togo. Working through partnerships, we implement projects in the areas of education, food security, development, health and emergencies. We fight for the rights of children sold for prostitution, women who have to fight for the chance to learn to read, and for millions of people in Togo who suffer in silence.

 

The ADRA network works closely with other humanitarian organizations (NGOs) and UN agencies, especially with the WFP, UNHCR, and UNICEF. ADRA Togo mainly works with partnering organizations and implements projects funded by them.

 

ADRA Togo is responsible for the implementation of projects in the field (administration, fund management, implementation of activities, objectives, narrative and financial reports, audits, public relations and advertising, monitoring and evaluation, etc.)

 

About the ADRA Network

ADRA is organized by an international network with 125 national and regional offices. The organization is brought together by ADRA International, the center office headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.

 

ADRA International supports and coordinates the network, without the dependence of national agencies. ADRA International is self-funded organization and does not use the financial resources of from national organizations. ADRA International has received the recognition from the United Nations General Consultative Status and the UN Council for Economic and Social Affairs (ECOSOC).
