Founded in 1991, Islamic Relief France (SIF) is a Non Governmental Organization international solidarity to social and humanitarian acts in the areas of humanitarian assistance and development aid, in France and in the world .

They work in an emergency, responding to the basic needs of the most vulnerable, in the development, providing people with the means to be independent.

The SIF has signed the Code of Conduct for the International Movement of Red Cross and therefore obliged to respect the following principles:

1- The humanitarian imperative priority.
The main reason of our interventions disaster is to alleviate the suffering of victims least able to bear the consequences. Providing humanitarian aid, we perform an act which is neither partisan nor political, and which must in no case be considered as such.

2. Aid is given regardless of race, creed or nationality of the recipients and without adverse distinction of any kind. The priorities are calculated on the basis of need alone.

3. Aid will not be used to further a political or religious beliefs, whatever humanitarian assistance is provided according to the needs of individuals, families and communities.

 

The SIF is a signatory to the ECHO framework partnership contract (European Commission Humanitarian Aid)

Humanitarian action of the European Union finds its essence in the right of people affected by humanitarian crises resulting from natural disasters, wars and outbreaks of violence or other extraordinary circumstances comparable to receive international humanitarian assistance. It is guided by respect for international law and the fundamental humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality and independence.
