Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, leadership development organization working to end the injustice of educational inequity by inspiring and supporting a diverse set of leaders with classroom experience to engage civically and politically.

Through one-on-one coaching, fellowships, workshops and resources, LEE works to develop and inspire its members individually and collectively across all disciplines — as policy makers, advocates, elected leaders and community organizers. They believe that when a diverse group of leaders, grounded in their classroom experience, are in leadership roles, they will serve as a transformative force for and with students, communities and the broader movement for educational equity.

LEE membership is free and open to all TFA corps members and alumni.

They develop leaders: They offer a variety of resources dedicated to helping their members realize their leadership potential so children across the nation have the opportunity to realize theirs.

They are growing a movement: They believe they all have a role to play in achieving educational equity. They connect their members to one another and to partners in the broader movement for educational equity.
