Global Justice is a non-governmental human rights organization that works with the protection and promotion of human rights and the strengthening of civil society and democracy. In this sense, our actions aim to denounce human rights violations, the focus of policy-making processes based on fundamental rights, promote the strengthening of democratic institutions, and require the guarantee of rights for the excluded and victims of human rights violations.

Over the past decade, the Global Justice is accredited as one of the leading Brazilian human rights organizations, nationwide, that conducts a rigorous and systematic work of research and documentation of human rights violations, publication of reports, use of international mechanisms human rights, coupled with a strong communication strategy and media. Through articulate and multidimensional use of these operational strategies, the Global Justice has succeeded in giving visibility to emblematic cases of human rights violations and, from there, set off a debate in the media and focus on the Government with regard to issues relevant as police violence, the intensification of the action of militias and death squads, the role of the judiciary in the worsening of the criminalization of social movements, the ills of the Brazilian prison system, the fragility of the human rights bodies at the federal level and in the ; the growing process of land concentration and the failure of the State to promote land reform policies and holder Maroons and indigenous lands.
