The Center for Climate Strategies (CCS) is an expert, impartial, 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides government officials and stakeholders worldwide with the expertise and assistance needed to develop and implement solutions that meet immediate and long term economic, energy, environmental, health, resources, and resilience goals. Their work serves as the catalyst that enables collaborative actions at the national, state, provincial, and local levels that capitalize on climate change as a growth and development opportunity in all economic sectors and meet the unique needs of each country and region.

Created in 2004 to build consensus on climate change solutions, the Center for Climate Strategies (CCS) Helps People Work Together to Build a Better Safer World. APPROACH 

To support their project partners and participants and to improve public insight, they provide thought leadership, outreach, training, tool development, and advanced facilitation and technical assistance. These activities are designed to build and deploy critical new capacities in key countries and regions for integrated approaches to climate change stabilization, resilience, economic development, sustainable development goals, and other high priority issues. They often combine initial training, capacity building, and tool development with follow on "learning by doing" processes for planning, evaluation, and implementation actions.
