AVSF - Agronomists and Veterinarians Without Borders is an association of international solidarity recognized for public utility, which has been working since 1977 to support peasant agriculture.

AVSF puts at the service of peasant communities threatened by exclusion and poverty the skills of professionals in agriculture, animal husbandry and animal health. AVSF supports their initiatives to obtain better living conditions, to sustainably manage the natural resources on which they depend, and to participate in the socio-economic development of their territory. AVSF helps them to defend their rights and better recognize their role in society.

To bring life to the projects of the association, AVSF employs more than 300 professionals in France and in its countries of intervention. AVSF regularly recruits a variety of profiles with multiple professional skills.

Agronomy and agroeconomics,
Animal health, veterinary public health and zootechnics,
Sociology and rural geography,
Financial, accounting and human resources management,
Communication and fundraising.

In France, in Lyon and in Nogent-sur-Marne, 28 professionals put their skills at the service of AVSF. They ensure the monitoring, the financing and the communication of the projects and ensure the good management and administration of the association.

Abroad, more than 250 local professionals and nearly 30 expatriate experts support AVSF projects in 20 COUNTRIES OF COOPERATION. These teams work in the fields of supervision, administration, facilitation and management of rural development programs.
