Integrate UK empowers young people to participate equally in an integrated, cohesive and representative society and provides them with life changing experiences and opportunities.

Integrate UK is a youth led charity that empowers young people to take an active and positive role in transforming the society they live in. The service users are central to decision making: they have four young trustees who lead youth steering groups and report back to the board; some of the older members work in the office or manage some of the creative projects. And now, for the first time, they are delighted to see some of the first members apply to join the board of trustees!

As well as supporting young people with their learning, ambitions and aspirations, they run projects that they have devised themselves.  The projects are often creative and they enable young people to learn and develop transferrable skills in many different areas.  Their work may involve film development, a stage production, song writing or organising a conference –many of them are invited to speak at high profile events, to consult government Ministers or deliver training to professionals including teachers, police, lawyers and medical professionals.

Their popular and youth friendly media resources are used to deliver peer education in schools around challenging issues such as female genital mutilation (FGM), grooming for radicalisation and / or right wing extremism, gang and drug culture or child sexual exploitation (CSE).   In one year, the young outreach team reaches well over 5,000 people directly through workshops and training sessions.

They aim to give young people a voice, a platform for expressing their views and ideas.
