| The Government of Guyana has received a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank toward the cost of the Road Network Upgrade and Expansion Program. The Government of Guyana intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for expanding the Sheriff Street / Mandela Avenue Corridor (approximately 7km). The Ministry of Public Works intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for the Construction of the Expansion of the Sheriff Street / Mandela Avenue Public Road. It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in December 2013. | ||||
