To support the execution of priority projects by Decentralized Autonomous Governments and/or their state-owned enterprises, with a comprehensive, long-term approach that combines infrastructure financing with institutional strengthening of operational and financial management of the services provided, so as to contribute to their efficient and sustainable delivery. This program is also consistent with the IDB country strategy with Ecuador (2012-2017), recently considered by the Programming Committee of the Board, in the focus areas of transportation and logistics, fiscal management, and urban sustainability.
