The Global LPG Partnership (GLPGP) partners with developing countries to transition sustainably and rapidly the maximum justifiable population to clean, safe, modern liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as cooking fuel, to prevent major problems such as household air pollution and deforestation arising from the use of solid fuels.
GLPGP works with governments and other key public and private sector stakeholders to plan, finance and implement these transitions. We are a balanced public-private partnership comprising governments, NGOs and the UN System, social impact investors, and leading international LPG companies.
