In Switzerland, 40% of women experience emotional abuse from their partner in their lifetime. One in five women has been, is or will be the victim of physical or sexual violence in the same context.
Shame, fear and guilt all too often prevent these victims from seeking help. Yet, breaking the silence is the first step to get out of the violence.
