Youth Association for Active Citizenship and Democracy (AJCAD)
The Youth Association for Active Citizenship and Democracy is the result of a group of young people convinced of their role in the development and establishment of the rule of law in Mali. The founding members are activists involved in promoting young people in different areas: sexual health, governance, advocacy and rights. Following a multitude of actions under Oxfam Novib's My Rights My Voice program, an awareness of the responsibilities of the different members was needed. They held appeal sessions of candidates for the presidential and legislative elections, mobilization of the voters population to go to register and vote, submission of manifesto to the candidates and analysis of the candidates' society projects.
