Since its founding in Denver in 1981, Hunt Alternatives has contributed more than $100 million to social change through a blend of grantmaking and operating programs.

Programs
Currently advocating for inclusive peace processes, combating the demand for purchased sex, inspiring women to political leadership, supporting social movement leaders, and strengthening youth arts organizations in eastern Massachusetts, Hunt Alternatives convenes allies, builds their capacity, and empowers them to achieve systemic change.

The Institute for Inclusive Security – the program includes women and other key stakeholders in the prevention and transformation of violent conflict. 

Demand Abolition – the program aims to abolish the illegal commercial sex industry in the United States requires the eradication of demand for purchased sex.

Political Parity - Leaders, researchers, and funders elevating the number of women in the halls of Congress and governor’s mansions.

Prime Movers - A fellowship program supporting the men and women who engage masses of people to create a more just society. 

ARTWorks for Kids – the program is a coalition of youth organizations in Eastern Massachusetts that garners increased private and public support for the arts.
