Changing Futures North East believes that relationships matter! In healthy relationships, they can experience endless joy but at their worst the relationships can bring us great hurt. They work with individuals, families and communities to ensure that the North East has the healthiest relationships in the country. The own experience as well as lots of research by others, convinces us that healthy relationships lead to positive futures for everyone.

Set up in the late 1990’s by dedicated children, young people and parents in the Headland area of Hartlepool, they wanted and worked hard to provide opportunities for local children and young people.

Whilst still based and providing services on the Headland, Changing Futures now works across the Tees Valley delivering a range of services that helps people to build and maintain healthy relationships.
They believe in ‘working with’ people rather than ‘doing to’ and giving the right help at the right time, especially at the earliest opportunity when people can make changes to prevent situations becoming worse. They enable individuals to unlock their potential, create and achieve the changes they want and in doing so, nurture relationships and strengthen communities.

Changing Futures has a small but growing team of dedicated, skilled individuals from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds working or volunteering with the Charity.
