Yayasan Insan Sembada (formerly known as YAYASAN INDONESIA SEJAHTERA) shortly YIS, is a non-governmental organization (NGO) in the field of community development. With support from sponsor organizations, YIS implements programs for less fortunate groups in many areas of Indonesia to improve the quality of life in their communities.  The program areas of YIS include community-based health programs, economic empowerment, trainings, local institutional strengthening, environmentally-sound agricultural practices, and peace-building. YIS has been supported by many donor organizations, including Christian AID, EZE/EED Germany, USAID, Hivos, NZAID, UNICEF, and UNDP.

Based on our experiences of more than 30 years of program implementation, YIS provides consultancy services on management of community development programs including program needs assessment, program design, program development, project evaluation, and trainings. YIS has performed consultancy services for many international and national organizations such as WVI, CWS, CRS, CCF, CARE, Misereor, OXFAM, GTZ, AusAID, USAID, Ministry of Health, Bappenas, and many others.
