The "Transgender Resource Centre" is the only non-profit organization in Hong Kong that mainly serves transgender groups. It aims to enhance the public awareness of the community and the school and provide support services to the community.

Transgender Resource Center (TGR), established on July 1, 2008, is dedicated to promoting transgender sports in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Based on education, it provides information for the community and transgender communities. Resources to help the community understand and deepen understanding of transgender issues and to provide transgender people with the assistance and benefits they deserve. TGR has been actively involved in the sharing of gender issues in various graduate schools in Hong Kong before registering as a community. Up to now, it has hosted and participated in nearly 300 seminars and workshops. It also received interviews in radio, television, magazines, newspapers and other media to present positive and transgender identity to the public. The organization has also maintained close ties and cooperation with the government, the medical sector, legal institutions, counseling teams, Christian organizations and other service organizations. The main work of the organization is divided into four parts: community service, public education, policy advocacy, and research work. The monthly gatherings of the Association will enable transgender people to have the right space to play the role of mutual support and enable the community to have access to and support groups for transgender and friendly people.

With the long-term support of the psychiatrist Dr. Merino and various members of the community, TGR was able to settle in the community in the ninth year of its establishment.
