Thrive Networks is an international NGO pioneering evidence-based programs and technologies in health; water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); and education for underserved populations in Southeast Asia.

Thier Mission is to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities in Asia through evidence-based programs and technologies in the areas of newborn health; water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); and education. In 2016, Thrive Networks’ programs will benefit more than 890,000 people living in poverty.

 

Approach
Comprehensive Intervention Design
Thrive Networks develops innovative technologies and operational approaches, implement programs employing these innovations, carefully measure their performance, scale them when appropriate, and disseminate the lessons learnt to key institutional actors.

 

Evidence-Based
Thrive Networks rigorously evaluates programs and innovations, regularly participate in randomized controlled trials, undertake quasi-experimental research, and employ third-party monitoring and evaluation to determine what works best. They document and disseminate the successes – and highlight obstacles – to key institutional actors (local partners, governments, donors, academic institutions).

The work is primarily locally led and in partnership with governments, NGOs and local organizations.
