From those who traveled to the U.S. as a result of changing immigration policies, to refugees who came to American shores in search of safety, to recent immigrants who continue to join their nation in search of the famed "American Dream," the one indisputable truth about their community is its breadth, diversity, and resilience.

And yet, they have seen their community ignored in national conversations about the very policies that define their experience: immigration, voting rights, and so much more.

Their mission is to advance the civil and human rights for Asian Americans and to build and promote a fair and equitable society for all. Advancing Justice | AAJC is a national 501 (c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1991 in Washington, D.C.

Advancing Justice | AAJC is the voice for the Asian American community – the fastest-growing population in the U.S. – fighting for their civil rights through education, litigation, and public policy advocacy. They serve to empower their communities by bringing local and national constituencies together and ensuring Asian Americans are able to participate fully in their democracy.
