A Local Flood Risk Management Strategy (Slgri) At The Scale Of The Lys Watershed (Taking Up The Tri) Was Put In Place In October 2016 And Approved In December 2016 For The Béthune-Armentières Tri In Order To Fight Against Floods In A Logic Of Upstream-Downstream Solidarity. Following This Approval, A Flood Prevention Action Program – Papi-Lys 3 – Was Implemented By Symsagel (Eptb-Lys) To Achieve The Objectives Of The Lys Slgri. Axis 6 Of The Papi “Slowing Down Of Flows” Provides For The Construction Of 38 Structures Spread Across The Symsagel Territory (Eptb Lys). Papi-Lys 3 Was Certified On October 12, 2017 And The Commitment Agreement With The Various Funders, Stakeholders And Partners Was Signed On December 18, 2017 For A Period Of 6 Years. A Mid-Term Amendment Was Put In Place At The End Of 2020 To Finance New Projects Or To Integrate Budget Modifications Following Changes To Previously Certified Projects (Amendment 2 Mid-Term Of The Papi - Order Of 02/09/2021).
