3. RECOMMENDATIONS

The stone masonry (ITEM 606) Quantity issued to the bidders was 34,280.82 cu.m but for final verified corrected quantity is 27,860.59 cu.m stone masonry as per letter from MOP with reference: 0007/DNPIPD/DGEPCC/MOP/I/2024 Dated 10 January 2024 and through letter 0011/ADN.IP/MPIE/XII/2023 dated 12 January 2024.

In the view of the results of combined scoring and ranking, NPC is recommending to award contract of Rehabilitation of Municipal Roads Package 6 Alas to Wedauberek Sta. 0+000 – 23+000 to Bidder no. 9 China Nuclear Industry 22nd Construction Co., Ltd (China) as first ranked provided the bidder has no Performance Issue on ongoing and completed project in Timor Leste with an amount of:

US$ 13,388,210.43 inclusive of taxes (with verified quantity of 27,860.59 cu.m stone masonry), is 12.49% (US$: 1,911,536.73) less than corrected cost estimate of (US$:15,299,747.15) based on 27,860.59 cu.m stone masonry.

4. AWARD OF CONTRACT

Council of Ministers (CoM) approved the Award of Contract at Contract Price of US$:15,396,441.99 to China Nuclear Industry 22nd Construction Co., Ltd (China) on 24th January 2024 with brief detail as follows:
